Is there anything I need to do before you arrive ?
Yes – in order for us to be able to reseal your shower effectively, please do not use the shower on the day of your appointment, and ensure all tapware is turned off tight to avoid leaking or dripping water.
Clean the tiled area the day prior to your appointment, removing any soap scum or products and other items. Wipe the surface down with a dry towel and allow to breathe until we arrive.
Remove all other non-fixed items from the room as removing old grout causes a dusty environment.
What do I need to do after the job is complete?
It is important not to use the shower until the next day to allow curing time for the grouting and shower sealing process.
It is normal for the area to have a chalky appearance the day after work is complete. Before using the shower, washdown walls with the showerhead or damp cloth. Repeat this process 2-3 times after each shower until clear.
Do you do other tiling/regrouting and waterproofing work?
Yes – many customers are so happy with the finished job they have other areas regrouted to match.

Why is my shower leaking?
95% of showers leak due to incorrect installation or building movement/weakening and cracking of the grout. This causes cracking in the grout, causing hairline fractures and loosening of tiles, breaking the seal and resulting in a leaking shower. This allows the water to get behind the tiles and can cause further damage to the surrounding walls.
The leaking water will follow the easiest path, and may not be visible for years. Left for a long period of time, this can cause damage to structural timbers and concrete. 95% of leaks come through the floor, usually where the wall tiles meet the floor, or at the drain.
How long does it take to fix the leak?
On average, a standard shower takes between 2 to 4 hours to fix the issue and reseal the shower, if necessary.
